Amazon hit a new milestone according to a recent report from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners. The company has now sold over 5 million Echo devices within 2 years. The new Echo Dot and Echo Tap models account for at least one-third of sales in the past six months
The Amazon Echo has become one of the leading smart home devices. With new competitors entering the market such as the Google Home and the LingLong DingDong, it is clear to see that at home personal speakers/assistants are IoT products that are here to stay.
Intel & Amazon Are Working On Smart Homes Together.
